Our specialist Montessori and multidisciplinary trainer offers a 16 to 24 hour training course per year for education teams.

    Qualified educators (m/f) for crèches and day care centres in Luxembourg

    The ROCKIDS group, a player in the early childhood sector in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is recruiting graduate educators on permanent contracts, young graduates or experienced educators, within its various establishments located in the centre and south of Luxembourg, in crèches and day care centres.

    Profiles sought: EJE, ES, Master’s degree in education, schoolteacher or other training specialising in the care of young children.

    Your tasks

    • To ensure the child’s care and development, education and socialisation.
    • Accompanying the child during the various stages of life: activities, meals, changing, naps, outings, etc.
    • To develop and carry out medium and long-term educational projects, in order to contribute to the arousal and overall development of children within a team project.
    • Ensuring communication and links with families.
    • Develop and conduct projects with external partners.
    • Comply with regulatory and hygiene standards (in particular HACCP standards).
    • Helping to meet the obligations of the SNJ and our supervisory authorities, by participating in the elaboration of the logbook containing schedules, educational projects, activity sheets, staff sheets, educational reflections, etc.
    • Supervising and accompanying less qualified staff or those in training.

    Your responsabilities

    • To ensure the physical, moral and emotional safety of each child.
    • Respect, apply and transmit the educational and pedagogical dimensions of the school project.
    • To ensure educational continuity between family education, school education and the non-formal education offered by our institutions.
    • Maintain a professional culture on a regular basis and in accordance with the development of the structure’s educational framework.
    • Skills needed:
    • Ability to lead and manage a group of children.
    • Ability to listen and dialogue in consultation.
    • Dynamism, availability, analytical skills and initiative.
    • Ability to lead and implement team activities and projects.
    • Writing skills (logbook, conveying information, communication to parents, etc.).
    • Fluency in French is essential for the integration of the teams. Luxembourgish is a plus, as well as any other local language.

    Your tasks

    • Implementation and monitoring of the crèche’s pedagogical project

    Profile required

    • Holder of a diploma and recognition as a graduate or postgraduate educator
    • Significant experience of three years, of which at least 18 months must be in a crèche

    Human Resources Officer (m/f), part-time, fixed term contract

    We are currently looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team of 14 crèches and day care centres in Luxembourg and to be part of our 140 staff. In order to consolidate its organisation, Rockids is recruiting a Human Resources Officer for a 6 month part-time contract (80%).

    You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of HR processes and the monitoring of HR policy in relation to the group, with the support of an administrative assistant.

    Administrative management

    • Management of administrative formalities for recruitment, amendments and termination of employment contracts.
    • Maintaining HR monitoring tools (working hours, leave, absences, etc.).
    • Preparation and maintenance of management charts by the establishment, Rockids and Group.
    • Payroll management (outsourced): transmission of monthly items to the trustee and control of the payroll.
    • Ensures the application of HR procedures.
    • Relationship with organisations and service providers (trustee, STM, Sympass, law firm, etc.).

    HR projects

    • Participation in the improvement of HR processes (recruitment, integration of new employees).
    • Implementation of an HR management tool.
    • Participation in the development of the employer brand and internal communication.
    • Legal monitoring with the support of a law firm.

    Advice to operational teams

    • Recruitment support (drafting and publishing job offers, possibly pre-screening CVs and interviews).
    • Support to operations in the various HR areas (compensation, labour law, career management).

    Profile and qualities required

    You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Rockids as well as the managers of the establishments in all aspects of human resources.

    • You have a degree in human resources or social law and at least five years’ experience in the field of human resources management (recruitment, payroll, social law, etc.).
    • You also have knowledge of Luxembourg labour law.
    • You are organised, rigorous, have a sense of maintaining confidentiality, are autonomous and have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • French is essential. Fluency in Luxembourgish, English and Portuguese is an additional advantage.
    • A keen interest for the early childhood profession, empathy and a sense of teamwork are imperative for the position.

    Marketing & Communication Manager

    Reporting to the Managing Director, Luxembourg, and in functional liaison with the Group Marketing Director, you will be responsible for defining and deploying a strategic, operational and digital marketing approach in line with the company’s and the market’s requirements, the primary aim of which is the sale of places in the Group’s crèches. You will also be responsible for the company’s internal and institutional communication.

    You will steer the support of external and internal service providers in carrying out the marketing plan. The ares to be implemented are the following:

    Strategic marketing

    • Research and monitoring (market, parents’ expectations, competition and positioning of Rockids in its sector)
    • Identification of value, differentiation and innovation levers
    • CRM deployment and tool management
    • Setting up all the monitoring indicators needed to measure the commercial effectiveness of marketing actions and their ROI (lead processing, conversion, etc.)
    • Budget monitoring

    Operational marketing

    • Reinforcement and implementation of a harmonious and attractive visual identity within all establishments (internal displays, organisation of traffic areas, external fittings and car parks, etc.) and organisation of the installation of signs and work on the visibility of establishments, including integrated crèches.
    • The development of all sales aids: flyers, POS material, customer brochures, coordination of the organisation of events, etc., and support for managers in their “sales performance” (transformation of leads into sales) – training, follow-up, animation.

    Digital marketing

    • Operational monitoring of the website being created,
    • Management of a web agency to manage SEA campaigns and define SEO actions
    • Animation of social networks and social media campaigns.


    • Press relations to ensure the company’s reputation, as well as contacts with marketing and communication agencies.
    • Setting up an internal communication policy: creation of a newsletter, seminar, etc.
    • Work on the employer brand

    Profile required

    You have a 3/5 year degree from a business school specialising in marketing, or a school of communication. You have 5 years’ experience as a Marketing and Communication Manager, acquired in a retail company, in a highly competitive environment. Knowledge of the Luxembourg market and of the actors and service providers.

    Creative and dynamic, you are armed with a solid command of marketing techniques, particularly digital, which have enabled you to be innovative in conducting projects.

    Your strong points are your communication skills, your ability to convey your ideas and get people to buy into them, and your interpersonal skills. A keen interest in the early childhood profession, an inquiring mind and a sense of customer service are imperative for this position.
